Lathuile is a village in Haute Savoie, in the canton of Faverges.
It is located south of Lake Annecy between the Bauges and Bornes mountains,
at an altitude of 500 meters.
It combines the advantages of proximity to the city,
of the mountain and the lake.

Lathuile is located at the southwestern end of the Lake Annecy valley,
on the southeast slopes of Taillefer.
This massif belongs to the Bauges massif.
The average altitude of the municipality is 500 m.
The municipality is a member of the regional natural park of the Bauges massif.
As the crow flies, the village is located 8.2 km northwest of Faverges,
the canton capital and 15 km south-east of Annecy.
The 7.7 km long Bornette stream runs through the municipality,
and its tributaries, including the Mine Creek.
The latter flows northwards and flows into Lake Annecy, at the Bout-du-Lac locality, located in the commune of Doussard.
